Bird Data consolidates the field guides for Colombia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, Bolivia, Brazil and Guyana (including Suriname and French Guiana) into a single application, aligning with platform guidelines.

The user interface and the resource usage profile of the previous standalone guides remains consistent in this consolidated release.

For each country, the guide provides scientific information and distribution maps focused on that country for all species.
Photos and sounds are available for most species.
Media can be downloaded either individually or in bulk.
Bird species can be navigated by taxonomy or by native language (English, Spanish or Portuguese).
The taxonomy follows the IOC standard.
A map feature ties into the eBird Hot Spot and sighting database, allowing users to see where species have been observed recently or to explore sightings at nearby locations.
A built-in sound recorder enables field recordings for later identification or note-taking.

The application is free to download; donations are welcome to support ongoing development.
